I love the ribs here!! Very special!!

This BBQ is the best in town and maybe within 100 miles. Nothing can touch the tender juiciness that rib shack delivers!

Good food but very small serving for way too much money

Welcome to the Rib Shack. This place has to have the best ribs on this side of the equator. The establishment is well kept and clean with 100% rustic Texan feel. Most businesses claim to have the best bar-b-que, and rarely this is true. But it also depends on ones idea of great Q. The Q here is moist and not dry. You can tell that the owner has some history behind his smokes and quality is in every bite. If you are in the Granbury area, this is one place you definitely want to come off the main highway and eat. Bring your appetite because you will get mad coming by without an empty stomach.

This place is awesome! The food is amazing and the staff is always a pleasure. They remember me every time I come in, and they keep everything so clean. That banana pudding is to die for and I can't get enough of their juicy perfect brisket. Keep it up! You've got yourself a lifelong customer

been here twice in 5 years....same rude woman behind counter, same frozen or canned vegs, meat ok, baked potato not done, over $20 per person for a mediocre lunch, never again

One of my favorite places to eat. Food is fantastic, the hot pickles are great. All the food is great but the ribs are over the top. By far, the best bar-b-q anywhere.

Rustic place, lots to look at. But the ribs ain't very good. Frozen precooked packs at the supermarket are just as good. Beans were great. Green beans from a can, no seasonings. R&R in Stephenville beats this hands down.

Bob makes the best damn BBQ in this town nobody will ever outcook him his staff is always friendly his pickles are to die for I need to start cooking his sides for him though but the meat is outstanding!!

Used to love coming here but the service was terrible. Was greeted by "If you don't know what you want, I'll be back in a few minutes because I'm the only one working today and I don't want to keep running back and forth with orders." He didn't even say hello. What kind of service is that? Yeah, the food is good, but just hope you don't go on a day with one person!

Picturesque restaurant with awesome ribs! Several other meat options including chicken, pork, and smoked bologna! Sides and desserts are great too. Can take out by the pound for a dinner at home!

Went there for the first time, met Bob very kind and friendly person. Food was to go and it was great bbq, next time I will eat there and have a beer. Good ole bbq joint.

All I can say is they make darn good food. If BBQ is what your looking for would definitely recommend. Starting at a 4 for good food, +1 for tasting so dang good.

I liked the BBQ here but it has been sold and don't know what is replacing it. So disappointed the Rib Shack is gone, few good BBQ in Granbury. giving a 3 star for not providing new info on what is coming ... should be a zero

Always good BBQ, great atmosphere

This is a 5 star bbq joint! Had the large rib plate which had 5 meaty ribs, which were delicious but the surprise really came in the form of the Mac-n-cheese. The Mac-n-cheese had a ton of various cheeses which made it amazing. Most restaurants that serve Mac-n-cheese make it runny & bland; not this place. They also have amazing red beans and a variety of bbq sauces to suit almost any palette. Go there you won’t regret it. Very friendly people as well!!

The RibShack was a nice little place! You can smell the good smoky food as soon as you walk in! I had the ribs my wife had a pulled pork sandwich! We both commented on how good our food was! My only complaint was I wish I had ordered more ribs!!

Great food, great staff, kind of off of the beaten path but it's a wonderful place to go everyone should go there for the ribs & more!

The woman cashier got our order wrong and argued that we said it wrong (that it wasn't her fault) then she said the wrong order will come out of her check. We love ribshack but this isn't the first time it's been wrong. But this is the first time we actually called about it being wrong. We tried to check it this time before we left, but the woman insisted that it was right and everyone checked it so there was no need. We go there a good amount but after this we might have to reconsider.

Really good ribs. I had take-out and thought it was a good amount of food for the price. It beat the portions of what you get from any chain-restaurant, by far.

Good food and great service

Nice hole in the wall place, quiet, friendly owners. However, while food wasn't bad, none of it was great either - between all of us, we got most of the meat on menu, and nothing stood out. Personally I got sausage (my go to), ribs, and pulled pork upon the recommendation of others here. All were good, but surpassed by many other joints, notably others in town. Food was also a few bucks more than the same amount elsewhere, and they did not serve bread with the plate, unlike other places.

One great little barbecue place. Excellent ribs brisket and you got to have the stuffed baked potato

My daughter's moved to South Carolina, and Georgia they crave Rib Shack.We were there the week Rib Shack opened. It is the best in this entire area.I packed, hauled, and delivered 2 day drive. The Brisket was absolutely fantastic, moist, and it was a wonderful Christmas!!!

Meats were tender,cornbread was melt in your mouth good, green beans were flavorful and the mac n cheese was creamy!

Best homemade pickles you'll ever have

I am new to the area and wasn’t sure I would find barbecue as good as back home in West Texas. We were pleasantly surprised. The brisket was fall off the fork tender and the sides were great. The pickles were amazing. We ordered a good sized take out order. It was ready to go when we arrived. Good prices...great food...friendly service! I highly recommend the rib shack!

Great!!! Staff was excellent, that genuine small town feeling. The food somehow was even better than the employees! I ordered "the shack sandwich" to go. Took a bite when i got in the truck and ended up eating the whole thing right away. Walked back in and ordered another one for lunch tomorrow!

We get food to go and it is always good . The sliced barbecue is delicious, lean & juicy. We like the sauce and pay extra for extra sauce. The counter help is not friendly, but the beef makes up for disgruntled staff.
